Bill Cohen, Former Barclays Vice Chairman, Joins KiwiTech as President
Washington, D.C.

KiwiTech, a leading provider of mobile solutions and an active investor in technology startups, has announced today the appointment of Bill Cohen as President.

Mr. Cohen was formerly Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Barclays. He will be working closely with Rakesh Gupta, CEO and Founder, to scale KiwiTech’s startup strategy and lead the firm's next seed-stage venture fund.

About Bill Cohen
Mr. Cohen worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays from 1992-2015, most recently as Vice Chairman of the Investment Banking Division. Since the start of his career at Lehman Brothers, Mr. Cohen ran a number of global industry groups including Media, Communications, Internet, and Business Services. From 2002-2012, he was a member of the Investment Banking Business Development Committee. During his career, Mr. Cohen has advised CEOs and Boards of Directors on a wide range of strategic and capital markets transactions totaling over $100 billion. Mr. Cohen holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He is on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for New York Cares, the largest volunteer network in New York City.
