Anita Gupta

Anita Gupta - born in Boston and raised in the Midwest - is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of creating industry-changing innovations over the past three decades. In 2022, Anita was recognized for her work as a Forbes 50 Over 50 honoree.

Anita and her brothers, Rakesh and Neal, founded Aptara in 1989. Anita drove the professional publishing services division and led sales and marketing for the entire company. With Anita’s leadership, Aptara became the largest publishing services company in the world, and was listed on the Inc 500 three years in a row, as one of the nation’s fastest growing companies. 

In 2009, Anita and her partners founded KiwiTech, which has created an ecosystem for entrepreneurs to succeed by supporting their technology development and investment efforts. KiwiTech is now partnering with, and invested in, over 500 startups. 

Anita was a speaker at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, judging pitch competitions with MyGlobalVillage. She was a keynote speaker at the US State Department event at the Mauritanian Embassy and spoke on Women’s Economic Empowerment. In the past, Anita has presented at the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs, India’s FICCI Big Data and Analytics Conclave, and KiwiTech's Female Founder Demo Days. Anita was a speaker and hosted pitch competitions at Cannes Next during Cannes Film Festival 2023 in partnership with MyGlobalVillage.

Cory Simpson

Cory  is the founder and CEO of Gray Space Strategies, Inc., a professional services and strategic advisory firm based in Washington, D.C. Cory has over twenty years of experience in government, the military, and the private sector – assisting clients in navigating the U.S. government and emerging technology markets, cybersecurity ecosystem, and national security spaces.

Before founding Gray Space Strategies, Cory worked as a managing director at Ankura and as an executive vice president at Resolute Strategic Services.  Prior to entering the private sector, Cory served for over 20 years in the national security community. Today, he is recognized as one of the nation’s leading experts on cybersecurity, public and foreign policy, emerging technologies and their markets, and the pressing need to align economic policy with national security.  He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission (CSC 2.0); an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Technology and National Security Program at the Center for a New American Security; an adjunct professor at Clemson University; and on the Advisory Board at Resolute Public Affairs.

Cory served on active duty in the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps from 2004 to 2016 and continues to serve in the Army Reserve as a legal advisor to the U.S. Army Cyber Command. Cory has spent most of his military career as a general counsel in the special operations and airborne communities, a prosecutor, and a national security law advisor. His highly decorated service includes multiple combat tours, several leadership roles, and extensive trial and advocacy experience.

Dr. Christina Liaghati

Working across a collaborative global community of industry, government, and academia, Dr. Liaghati leads MITRE ATLAS and passionately drives research and developments in AI security and assurance for everyone working to leverage AI-enabled systems. Serving the community with the not-for-profit, objective, MITRE perspective, she is dedicated to working together to create and openly share actionable tools, capabilities, data, and frameworks like ATLAS, an ATT&CK-style framework of the threats and vulnerabilities of AI-enabled systems.

As Dr. Liaghati has worked across the community to improve the common understanding of AI security concerns, her work has quickly started overlapping with the broader AI assurance space, which includes AI equitability, interpretability, reliability, robustness, safety, and needs for privacy enhancement. As a result of this expansion beyond AI security into more of the areas of AI assurance, her current focus under ATLAS and across the international community is to build a protected mechanism for increased knowledge and incident sharing across government and industry in both AI security and the broader areas of AI assurance. 

Andrea (Andi) Huels

Andi Huels  leads global Growth and Strategy for RadiusAI. A go-to-market executive with expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics, Andi helps F500 companies drive agility and re-invent their operations with AI. Her passion for evangelizing AI solutions inspires executives in retail, restaurants, and supply chain to think differently about how they can harness the power of AI to make smarter decisions, increase operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience. A deep understanding of AI use cases, combined with her ability to cultivate technology ecosystems, enables Andi to become a trusted advisor to CXOs.

Andi was recently recognized as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Technology in 2023,” “Top 50 Intelligent Automation Influencers,” and “Class of 2023 Women Leaders of Conversational AI.”

Prior to RadiusAI, Andi served as Head of AI, North America, at Lenovo ($70B). Her background includes two decades of global strategy, growth, and innovation leadership roles with General Electric, ExxonMobil, Dematic, Crane, Imerys, Omron, and General Mills.

Andi earned a BS in Management with honors from Indiana University and holds a Certificate in AI and Business Strategy from MIT. An avid cyclist, she resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her four children and their English Mastiff, Penelope.

Mishu Rahman's  unique perspective is rooted in engineering and shaped by a broad and progressive technology leadership in the private and public sectors. Prior to his executive roles at two multi-nationals, as a career civil servant at The White House, he had the privilege of leading multiple $100M+ FinTech and digital transformations, and national strategies including the White House AI Roadmap, securing the world's biggest and most sensitive data treasure chest, and manage multi-billion dollar tech investment in shaping ROI for 330 million Americans as shareholders and delivering world-class digital experience as customers.

Currently, as chief technology risk executive, Mishu is partnering with and strengthening HSBC CIOs/CISOs/Business collaboration to create value for customers. By tactfully harnessing investment including emerging technology such as AI to move at the speed of business with inherent resilience, trust, and security, Prior to that, Mishu partnered with the BNP Paribas Boards, Business Verticals, and steered BNPP’s ambitious cloud transformation, M&A, and AI initiatives fueling growth while strengthening core business risk posture. He designed a new digital & cyber target operating model synched to emerging threats, industry best practices, and evolving regulatory landscape, rooted in robust security frameworks and innovative security technologies like ML to reduce security incidents and breaches.

Abid Siddiqui

Abid a Principal Builder at AI Fund, works with  Founders in Residence and Venture Advisors to validate potential business ideas and rapidly build new companies.

With over a decade of entrepreneurial experience, Abid brings a broad set of business validation and building skills to the AI Fund. Most recently, he worked with the BARDA, the biomedical innovation unit within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). There Abid served as a strategic advisor and supported the HHS’s pandemic preparedness and response efforts. He was responsible for launching the organization’s first startup studio, which focused on launching new companies at the intersection of healthcare and national security. He also designed and launched numerous accelerator and incubator programs and worked with the participating founders on all aspects of their company build.
