Jay Whitehead is a serial entrepreneur who has led 18 startups and managed 6 successful exits in IT, HR services, media and social enterprise, and raised over $500 million in venture capital, EB-5 capital and private equity. His first tech boss was Steve Jobs, who he helped launch Apple’s Lisa Computer in 1983. He co-founded fintech app developer League Network PBC, which was acquired by the company in 2021. He holds a BA from UCLA and Strategic Finance Certificate from Harvard Business School. He is a dual citizen of US and France, married with 3 children and has completed nearly 100 marathons.
Jerry Balan is EVP - Strategic Partnerships who develops strategic alliances with entrepreneurs, Incubators/Accelerators to bring solutions for business growth to start-up companies.
Jerry started their career in 1984 as the President of Automatech Graphics Corporation. Jerry then went on to be the Division President of ATLIS Systems, Inc. from 1992 to 2008. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the operation of the Publishing and Information Services Division. Jerry also led the business development and technical direction for content management solution for publishers, associations and government.
In January 2009, he became the Director of Publishing Services at DataStream Content Solutions. In this role, they served publishers, information aggregators, associations, and government agencies. He helped their clients understand the value of enriched content using XML to leverage their valuable information assets to produce multiple products in all media formats. He also participated in all marketing initiatives to launch new service offerings; strategic planning, pipeline development, trades shows, presentations and proposals/contracts.
He has been with KiwiTech since February 2012 and is currently responsible for leading the company's partnerships with other organizations.
Jerry Balan attended Queens College for their computer science degree and Brooklyn College for their liberal arts degree. He then went on to attend New York University.
