David Calone is the CEO of Jove Equity Partners, LLC, a venture capital firm that helps start and build technology companies located throughout the United States. He has served on the boards of twelve privately-held companies in connection with his entrepreneurial and investing activities. He is the co-founder and former Board Chair of a technology-enabled health care company that has been recognized four times by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the country.
He is a co-inventor on 19 U.S. patents relating to internet data aggregation and to health care data and consumer choice.
Sara is a principal with Spero Ventures. Spero is an early stage venture capital firm founded and funded by Pierre Omidyar (founder of eBay). Sara focuses on tech platforms in thematic areas such as health, wellbeing and future of work. Prior to Spero, Sara was a principal at Omidyar Network and a manager at Monitor Group. She received her BA from Northwestern University and holds an MSc in Economics and International Development from the London School of Economics.
Richa is a partner at Nixon Peabody who supports early-stage companies from the U.S. and abroad with matters relating to the organization of emerging companies, founder agreements, stock plans and employee compensation, licensing and strategic partnerships, and raising seed through later-stage venture capital funding through the issuance of convertible debt and preferred stock. Richa’s clients are in the technology, health care, AI/machine learning, logistics, media, life sciences, impact investment, and consumer industries.
